Anwar Mack, MD

Anwar Mack, MD is a Texan at heart but is proud to call Reno, Nevada his new home. He completed both his residency in Anesthesia and his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.

During his training in Anesthesiology he saw the impact chronic pain had on his patients. It was his time in the Pain Medicine department where Pain Medicine physicians, Physical Therapists and Pain Psychologists worked together to give patients control of their life. Dr. Mack believes the needs of the patient come first and treating others the way you would like to be treated is the best approach to patient care.

During his time at Mayo Clinic he became skilled in ultrasound guided therapeutic intervention and practicing evidence-based medicine. If he is not working in the community, he enjoys spending time with his family, aviation, church, sailing and exercising.
